Welcome to my work in progress. A little rough around the edges, but hopefully will educate as well as provide some relief for those also going through the craziness of daily life with Autism. Hope you enjoy it :o)

Cruisin Day 10!!

Sunday March 1

We finally got off the boat In Miami around 9am I think. Randy and I rented a car so we could tool around for a while before heading up to Ft Lauderdale  for our flight home. First up: MARLINS PARK.

We were walking around the outside of the stadium (okay, Randy was walking. I was slightly walking super fast) We rounded a corner by some construction equipment, and there was a huge garage door open. It was right in center field, and there was a security guard sitting there. I asked if we could go in and look for a second, and he said no, we could only walk up to the door. We saw them replacing the turf. We started chatting, and when I told him that I’d been to 21 MLB stadiums so far, and my brother, dad, and nephew came down for a Twins game last year, he said, “Welllllll I guess you can come in and take a peek real quick.” 🙌🏼

IT WAS AWESOME.

Then we hit up Miami Beach, and drove to Dania Beach before heading to the airport. At least it wasn’t as long of a travel day as going to Florida. Layover in Chicago. The White Sox grill was closed, however.

Cruisin’ Day 9!!!!!

Saturday February 29

Our last day on the ship! We met the brothers and SILs to rock climb and play mini golf. I didn’t get very far on the rock wall, but I’ve never done it before, and the handholds are small!! Then Randy, me, Steve, and Tracey played ping pong for a while.

Dinner that night was bittersweet. I think at that point we all wanted to get home and see our kids, but were going to miss our waiter and hanging out together. After dinner we all sat around and chatted for one last time before heading to bed. We’re going to miss Jayvee!!
