Welcome to my work in progress. A little rough around the edges, but hopefully will educate as well as provide some relief for those also going through the craziness of daily life with Autism. Hope you enjoy it :o)

Cruisin Day 10!!

Sunday March 1

We finally got off the boat In Miami around 9am I think. Randy and I rented a car so we could tool around for a while before heading up to Ft Lauderdale  for our flight home. First up: MARLINS PARK.

We were walking around the outside of the stadium (okay, Randy was walking. I was slightly walking super fast) We rounded a corner by some construction equipment, and there was a huge garage door open. It was right in center field, and there was a security guard sitting there. I asked if we could go in and look for a second, and he said no, we could only walk up to the door. We saw them replacing the turf. We started chatting, and when I told him that I’d been to 21 MLB stadiums so far, and my brother, dad, and nephew came down for a Twins game last year, he said, “Welllllll I guess you can come in and take a peek real quick.” 🙌🏼

IT WAS AWESOME.

Then we hit up Miami Beach, and drove to Dania Beach before heading to the airport. At least it wasn’t as long of a travel day as going to Florida. Layover in Chicago. The White Sox grill was closed, however.

Cruisin’ Day 9!!!!!

Saturday February 29

Our last day on the ship! We met the brothers and SILs to rock climb and play mini golf. I didn’t get very far on the rock wall, but I’ve never done it before, and the handholds are small!! Then Randy, me, Steve, and Tracey played ping pong for a while.

Dinner that night was bittersweet. I think at that point we all wanted to get home and see our kids, but were going to miss our waiter and hanging out together. After dinner we all sat around and chatted for one last time before heading to bed. We’re going to miss Jayvee!!

Cruisin’ day 8!!

Friday February 28

At sea. Headed home. Sad.

Randy and I got up at the butt crack of dawn to watch the sunrise. There were clouds in the way, so there wasn’t much to see. We ate breakfast in the dining room, and I had the cutest waffles 😁 We sat in the hot tub, walked around for a while, and then went to the ice skating show. It was very cool. After that we met everyone else to play a game called LCR. You start out with four quarters, and everyone takes turns rolling the dice. If you get an L, you pass one the left. R, to the right. C, put it in the pot in the center. A Wild means you steal one from someone else. Once it’s down to the last person with quarters, they win. It’s SUPER fun and we laughed a lot!!

That was the last dress up night, and we looked goooooood. As usual. 🤷🏽‍♀️ We also got a towel monkey!!! And, there was FRIENDS TRIVIA!! I rocked that obviously.

Cruisin’ Day 7!!!

Thursday February 27

Docking in Curaçao!!!

I SWAM WITH DOLPHINS. I was beyond excited!! Randy said that I didn’t stop grinning the entire time!!

We walked around the city for a while afterwards. I tried some aloe water which tasted amazing, but had floaty things in it. 😳 Randy bought a little Corvette, and I found Starbucks, so we both had a great afternoon! 😂

We went to the arcade for a while once we got back to the ship, and I won a Forky from those machines! Randy tried to win it for me, but he was unsuccessful. We got a towel seal that day too!

I wore another dress to dinner that night, thankyouverymuch.

And of course, more hot tub!

Oh, the elevator floors had interchangeable panels that told us what day it was. A good thing, because most of the time we had no idea!
